Our newly launched Alternative Provision service provides engaging, inspiring and trauma-informed learning experiences for young people who may be disengaged from mainstream education or require additional support to achieve their full potential.

Inspire creativity through digital design and illustration, providing young people with a safe space to express themselves, build confidence and develop valuable creative skills.
Use urban and street art to encourage self-expression, creativity and community engagement while helping young people develop confidence, identity and a sense of belonging.
Help young people build confidence, communication skills and emotional resilience through drama, acting and performance in a supportive and trauma-informed environment.
Develop creative thinking and digital design skills while helping young people discover their talents, improve self-confidence and explore future career opportunities.
Deliver engaging literacy, numeracy and communication sessions that help young people develop the essential skills needed for everyday life, education and employment.
Use music to inspire creativity, improve wellbeing and develop confidence through performance, songwriting, production or instrumental tuition.
Introduce young people to DJing, mixing and music production while developing technical skills, creativity and confidence within an engaging learning environment.
Help young people find their voice through podcasting, broadcasting and digital storytelling, developing communication skills and self-confidence.
Support young people to explore their creativity through a wide range of artistic techniques, encouraging self-expression, emotional wellbeing and personal achievement.
Use sport to build confidence, resilience, teamwork and healthy lifestyles while promoting positive relationships and emotional wellbeing.
Deliver practical and engaging STEM activities that inspire curiosity, critical thinking and ambition while making learning enjoyable and accessible.
Create calm, creative and therapeutic learning experiences that encourage patience, confidence, creativity and personal achievement.
Support young people to develop empathy, responsibility and confidence through meaningful experiences involving animal care and welfare.

We believe volunteering should be accessible to everyone. Reasonable travel and subsistence expenses will be reimbursed in line with Upturn's Volunteer Expenses Policy, ensuring that no one is out of pocket for giving their time to support our work.
